James Matthew Promise, hailing from the picturesque Ahoada East local government area in the heart of Rivers State, Nigeria, is making waves in the music scene with his soul-stirring vocals and heartfelt songwriting titled NYEWEMEH.

James Matthew Promise Born on June 16, 1991, James discovered his passion for music at a young age while growing up in the vibrant community of Ihuaje.

James’s musical journey began during his formative years at Western Ahoada County High School, where he honed his skills as a worship singer, drummer, keyboardist, and vocalist. Inspired by the uplifting melodies and powerful lyrics of artists like Frank Edwards and Don Moen, James found solace and inspiration in the gospel music genre.

In 2010 and 2011, James completed his O Level education, laying the foundation for his future endeavors. Fuelled by a burning desire to share the message of hope and faith through music, James released his debut song titled “What a Love,” captivating listeners with its heartfelt lyrics and melodious tunes.
